Interhouse Sports Day at Tanzi Sports Center
We just had our first inter house sports day at Tanzi Sports Center on Sept. 7th. We had table tennis, badminton, indoor soccer, and indoor baseball competitions in the morning. In the afternoon, we had volleyball and basketball tournaments. What sets this inter house sports day apart from others is that we arrange teachers and the alumni to play against the winning houses, which brings extra excitement and fun to the activities. Moreover, the new students get more familiar with the current students by working together in the various matches. This is exactly why we bring the house system to HWIS. Tanzi Sports Center provides a great nearby location with a high-quality venue and has always been a great professional partner to HWIS whenever we are having sports activities or matches. We will continuously work with them for future sports events and we will keep improvise on the future interhouse sports days.
